For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Steph, a physical therapist, one of the cofounders of the Level Up initiative (LUI) and the driver behind this blog operation. I am a passionate nerd, born and bred in New Jersey, and currently reside in Boston, MA. I love sports (particularly basketball) and working out, cooking, reading, teaching and learning and nerding out with friends and colleagues. I also LOVE coffee and dark chocolate, and I feel they deserve their own sentence- so there it is. 

I am one of three children and I am the middle child- so yes, you can stop reading at this point and forget about me and I’d understand (#middlechildrenunite). My areas of passion within physical therapy lie in ACL rehab and youth athletic development, though I truly enjoy working with chronic pain and chronic low back pain as well.

I have always been much more comfortable expressing myself through writing than via speaking, and although I have been and will continue to work on my confidence with speaking, I hope to utilize my strengths along with and for you all here. 

I want this blog to showcase our passion here at the LUI for helping people learn, grow and do better in whatever capacity they can, in their clinical careers and beyond. I want this to be collaborative, interactive, and meaningful to all parties involved. Therefore, this is an open invitation for any of you to reach out to me at any time with suggestions, questions possible contributions, etc. This is an extension of the AMAZING family and community that Level Up has and will continue to build.
